Using social media to find inspiration

Are you planning on painting your house and looking for inspiration? There are paint colour charts, and then there is Pantone and Pinterest.

We simply love Pantone’s Pinterest page. It is choc-full of colour, fun, innovation and most importantly – inspiration. Paint colour charts do not have to be boring! In fact, they should be quite the opposite.

The greatest artists in the world draw inspiration from real life surroundings, not a pamphlet. Painting your house should be a fun journey discovering what you love most about colour.

Google defines colour as:

“The property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way it reflects or emits light.”

Pantone Pinterest boards reflect real life with boards dedicated to seasons, holidays and events, nature, food, fashion, weddings, home décor, graphic design and even iPhone covers!

Colour isn’t conventional – it’s forever evolving, changing and pushing the boundaries. Paint colour charts should do the same and that’s why we love the Pantone Pinterest page.
